I have posted some excerpts of the installation from the AIGA tours through the gallery space on Thursday.
If you have not seen/heard the installation yet, it will be playing again on November 2 for First Friday, and November 8th as part of the Soundscapes Presented By Mystery Cabal series performance date. While the installation will be on site until the end of November, it will only be playing during these times. I may announce a few additional dates and times. Stay tuned . . .
Please Note: You will need Real Player to stream this link:

This file consists of four excerpts and runs about 15 minutes. The entire work cycles through the source material every 5-8 hours, so this is a small sample of the sound terrain the piece covers (though it does so at a glacial pace).

I met with Rob from Art and Anthropology and Loophole to begin design work on the new Mystery Cabal website. I am quite excited about the work we did. Rob has some brilliant design ideas for the site, which will include a new interactive ambiant work that the user interacts with using a cool graphic interface. We are hoping to have the new one live by the end of October. More to come . . .

I had to cancel my trip to Rhode Island. I was supposed to play pixilerations (v.4) in Providence on Friday 10/5 with S. Lyn Goeringer. I planned to drive on Wednesday and Thursday, but a series of inconveniences finally climaxed in a car problem that postponed my departure. By Wednesday night, I spoke with Lyn and we agreed it was probably better to flag it since she had someone else to do the gig with.
The upside was that I was in town for the opening reception of Discard, the new show at Object + Thought, which includes my Remnants of the Passage. The opening was well attended and the installation seemed to be well received. I will add some audio examples this week.
